Zohr Gas Field Development Project
First and second phase had been implemented and production reached 2 Billion SCF/D in August 2018 through drilling (10) offshore wells, constructing (5) onshore production and processing trains, and (4) offshore pipelines.
The third phase is being implemented and production reached 2.7 Billion SCF/D in August 2019 through putting (4) offshore wells on production, constructing (3) onshore production and processing trains, and (2) offshore pipelines.
Nooros Gas Field Development Project
Nooros Field Production was restarted in 2015 after shut down for more than two years with investment 290 Million USD through drilling and completion (15) wells and upgrading the onshore plant, the production gradually reached 1150 MMSCF/D, also new onshore pipeline was constructed and put on production in May 2019 with total length 128 Km and additional investment around 300 Million USD, the pipeline target is to transfer 700 MMSCF/D from Nooros Field production to El-Gamil gas plant to extract LPG and to handle the production from future discoveries.
North Alex and West Nile Delta Gas Fields Development Project
North Alex and West Nile
Delta gas fields are considered the second most important ongoing gas fields
development projects, the total investment for fields development is considered
10.5 billion dollar, Production started from Taurus and Libra in March 2017
with 720 MMSCF/D. Production started from Giza and Fayoum in February
2019 with 400 MMSCF/D and increased gradually till reach about 585 MMSCF/D ,
and planned to start production from
Raven Field in April 2020 with 850 MMSCF/D.
